Memphis Ques donate 2,600 pounds of turkey

Members of the University of Memphis Xi Zeta and Sigma Lambda Lambda chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity form a line to bring in the turkeys they donated Thursday to the Mid-South Food Bank.

The two groups donated 2,600 pounds of turkey. The Food Bank has a goal of collecting 5,000 turkeys to give out for the Thanksgiving holiday.

As of Thursday, the Food Bank had taken in 3,200 turkeys. Anyone interested in making a donation can do so online at midsouthfoodbank.org or at the facility at 239 S. Dudley. (Source: Commercial Appeal)
